The Winter 2008 Regional Newsletter is now available online. All professional members should read the information about the State Chairman Elections. They will be conducted online between April 1-15 and only those members whose membership is active, safety certification is current, and whose background check has been completed (if required for renewal), as of the end of February will be eligible to vote. I am pleased to announce I have nominated Robin Deary Fillmore for another term. Anyone else interested in this position should follow the instructions on the nomination form in the Regional Newsletter.
All the information and forms for the 2008 Regional Championships for Levels 8, 9, & 10 is also included the Regional Newsletter. Again, all coaches should be sure that their membership, with background check if required for renewal, and safety certification are current or they will not be allowed on the floor at any USAG competition. DO NOT WAIT until the last minute to attempt to deal with this. Background checks take 10-30 business days and even longer if there have been many moves in the last ten years. If you expire at any point during this spring season do it now!!! |

They may do Compulsory in the Fall and Prep Opt in the Spring. If you are thinking of competing Prep Opt out of state be sure to check their state website first. Each state has different requirements and MA has just changed theirs again so we are no longer using the same rules.
